About the Role:

We are looking to bring on board a qualified individual who will be able to manage a region of SwyftStores as well as the different levels of technicians that will service them. This person will need to be a self-starter and highly motivated. As a Regional Manager, you will be responsible for the uptime of your stores, reporting feedback to our Network Operations team, as well as providing high level  support to the technicians that service your region.

 Daily tasks will include checking the ZenDesk ticketing system for outstanding tickets, auditing stores that have fallen below our standard of uptime, taking support calls from technicians in your region, closing out work orders with specific details about what was done to resolve the issue, processing Research Tickets in ZenDesk to determine if certain issues in fact do need to have a dispatch created and complete in field visits to our SwyftStores

 Qualifications:

  • Must live within 30 miles of Chicago or in the Midwest Area
  • Understanding sound troubleshooting techniques
  • Higher education, 4-year degree in a related field such as Engineering or Computer Science degree (Preferred)
  • 3+ Years of experience in Help Desk Support
  • Basic understanding of electrical circuits and switches using Multimeters
  • Fluent in software/driver installation and removal (preferred)
  • Emphasis on Production Engineering and QA a plus
  • Able to troubleshoot PC hardware issues
  • Experience in creating processes and documentation
  • Self-motivated and able to  be self-managed, organized, and detail oriented
  • Some project management skills are a plus
  • Able to multitask and prioritize daily assigned tasks/projects
  • Must be able to work on Weekends, Holidays and Evenings

 Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, create and walk techs through field dispatches and repairs
  • Troubleshoot and suggest improvements and new process for production hardware and software
  • Support field technicians
  • Manage and support the Midwest Region of the United States 
  • Develops methods and practices for Field Technicians
  • Must be able to travel 75% to 85%
  • Work closely with clients to meet contractual obligations
